It is a high quality Tube Fin core with internal turbulators that delivers exceptional cooling performance when combined with the intercooler. Surprisingly, despite its size, the intercooler weighs only a light 9.1 kg.
The cast aluminum end boxes were developed in CAD and optimized for optimum internal airflow using CFD simulations. An integrated air guide in the end box ensures homogeneous filling of the Competition high-performance intercooler core. The connection diameters have been expanded to Ø67 mm, which is why this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. The result is an intercooler with significantly less back pressure compared to the stock intercooler.
All our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat conduction properties.
